I'm still currently using WIN7 on my company PC, but I assume it's working in the same way on WIN10. Hey guys, I had the same problem and I have the "new" c920HD with 0892 HW ID. It's an expensive camera, that Logitech claims to support a number of functions that fundamentally don't work as they should for me and others. I'd really like to get to the bottom of this as it's driving me nuts.
Under either "Cameras" or "Imaging Devices", right click "HD Pro Webcam C920".If you have a C920, and are on Windows, can you please: Has anyone else on this sub got a C920 and can input their experience of using zoom, pan and facial tracking (the C920 user guide says it supports all of these functions)? Not acceptable for a camera of this price that claims to support zoom, pan and face tracking (see the C920 user guide). The best workaround so far is to use "Logitech Capture" as a virtual webcam, but this puts a software transcoding layer between the hardware and Teams, OBS, Skype etc. So starting to feel like a firmware / hardware issue.

I've tried with the standard Microsoft USB Video Device (UVD) drivers and a Logitech "HD Pro Webcam C920" driver, but exact same behaviour. That again suggests to me a firmware / hardware / driver issue, not software (unless all Logitech webcam software works off the same codebase). People with the issue report it through both G-Hub and LWS, both of which should act directly upon the hardware. What I suspect is that owners of the "old" C920 are fine, those with the "new" have this problem. That suggest to me physically different hardware or different firmware and at the very least different driver requirements.
What I think I've determined is that there are "new" C920 webcams out there, of which I am the owner, and these have different hardware IDs to previous C920's, as seen in Windows device manager.

I've spent hours digging, and see many people have the same problem - and many people do not! Logitech have been hopeless in responding to tickets (one update simply said - "zoom is third party app, not supported", having clearly ignored the actual detail of the ticket) and the "community forum" is lacking in any sort of community or official Logitech contribution. Here's a demo of what happens when I try to configure zoom and pan in G-Hub:
The result is that I have to do my MS Teams meetings in full widescreen mode, with a load of my office wall in the background and my wee face in the middle. I recently bought a new C920 and cannot configure zoom and pan in G-Hub or LWS, on my Windows 10 machine.
